Its DH birthday and since I was at IMM that day, decided to buy a cake for DH as DS loves to hear birthday song and blow candles. Out of fun, I have also decided to buy 1 shirt and a T-shirt for DH birthday present. However, just as I was about to rush home, I saw that Fox having sales too. Managed to buy 2 t-shirt for DS too. Back home, I told DH that everyone got present except me (only got burned holes in my pocket. Hahaha). Left the house at 8plus for dinner and we decided to eat nearby as it was already very late. So we settled for Mad Jack @ Jalan Kayu. Food was not bad but DS did seems to enjoyed our food. Left the place after our meal and went to SIL hse for cake cutting session as the cake was to big for both of us to consume ourself.
Once reached there, I simply let BIL and DS cousin entertained him while I went to surf the net and relax. We cut the cake around 10plus and DS was so happy (maybe he thought was his birthday). Anyway, left their hse closed to 12 midnight.

Thought of going shopping in town but received a call from PIL that they wanted to come by my place. So my shopping plan was cancelled and instead the whole day was spent at home. Because, we decided to bring DS for a morning walk at MacRitchie with SIL and family, we went to SIL place again for a stayed over. I went over with DS first, while DH stayed backed and clean the house. DH came around 12 midnight with delicious Roti Prata and everyone had a nice supper including DS. After supper, we all went to sleep around 1am plus.

Woke up around 8am but the whole family was still sleeping. Soon, everyone was awake including DS (but he was very grouchy as we woke him up from his sleep). Had breakfast at coffee shop first before we went over to picked up PIL. Reached MacRitchie at ard 9am plus and DS was very happy to see tortoise, fishes etc. On our walk, we also saw a Golden Retriever and the dog was very obedient. DS was not scared at all, he even went to hug and stroke the dog. He simply loves the dog but me…I was standing far far away except to take some photos of him and the big dog. After two hours plus of walking, we decided to go back home as the weather was already too hot.
Went back to PIL place for dinner and after dinner, we accompany BIL to AMK Central to choose a TV consol for the living room. But nothing caught his eyes, so we went to AMK hub to shop for a while before heading back to PIL place for a night stayed over.

Told DH that I wanted to go shopping today and he agreed. So let DS have his early lunch and I thought that it would be a good idea to let him have his nap for a short while. But atlas, DS slept till 4pm plus and so we changed our plan and went with BIL to choose a TV consol at Thomson. Hmmm… nothing caught his eyes there and so we went to Sungei Kadut as there are more choices there. Finally, he found something to his liking and we went for dinner at Woodlands after that. Went back home at around 8plus as the next day is a working day. So long weekend burnt just like that. Sigh…next long weekend will have to wait for Aug..

18th month milestone
DS is now 18th mth already. He is now more fun to play and at times can make you laugh till you drop because of his wacky actions. He is able to say words like “Xie xie, please (but sounds like pea to me), Kor Kor, Por Por, eyes, shoes, apple, bird, bus, car” etc. He is able to identify his body parts when u asked him to (but subjected to his mood). But also, he is also become more mischievous and naughty already and always testing my limits. Also, realized that DS don’t like to eat durian and chocolate or anything that is black in colour eg. Rasin.. He also likes to play the ‘Eeee game’, which he will pretend that there is something dirty on the floor by pointing, and then run away. Now that we are taking care of him ourself, we think he have put on more weight coz even his nanny said he looks bigger now…So fast, now can start to think what course to enroll DS also so that he can learn more things and have fun.

Brought Ds to Pierce Reservoir for a morning walk as I wanted to bring DS see the monkeys over there and also let DS exercise coz he is very lazy as he always wanted me to carry him. The walk was fun and we managed to see monkeys over there but I was so scared of them that I told DH to bring DS go and see while I waited for them in the car. After that, we went to have our prata breakfast which DS like it very much. Think next time will bring DS to MacRitchie for a walk there too..

Supposed to bring DS for a trial class at Claymore Point with Virgo and her DS but the teacher was sick so class was cancelled which was just nice because DS was also down with fever, cough and flu.

DS woke up early at around 7.30am which was good because will be meeting Virgo and family to go to the trial class “Boggie Bug” together. As our car was a weekend car so we couldn’t use on Sat morning so Virgo DH offered to pick us up from our house. We reached there at 9pm plus and the class already started. The singing part was very interesting and could see that DS also enjoyed himself. After the class, we went for our breakfast at MacDonald’s and the kids will having fun by making a mess there..Hahaha. After that, went over to Pragon Metro coz there was a 20% storewide sales. Brought DS a remote control car and also present for my niece.
After our shopping, we went over to Suntec exhibition hall as Virgo DH needs to run some errand there while me and Virgo also took this time to stop by a booth that was trying to ‘hard-sell’ us a course for the development of children right brain. But the course was too pricey for me to even think about it. Anyway, we went to Carl’s Jr for lunch after that and the children simply love the kiddy ride over there. Had a hard time trying to coax DS out of the ‘car’ ride. We went back home after 4pm plus and DS was so tired that he fell asleep while on our way back and woke up on at 6pm plus for his dinner and shower. Had a fun day out and thanks to Virgo & family for everything too..

Reached Raffles SC for shopping at 11plus to meet up both my sis for buffet lunch at Café Swiss. Brought DS toys car again coz he simply love playing with cars. We proceed to the Swissôtel The Stamford, Level 2 café at 12pm as we were already very hungry by then. However, food was not that fantastic maybe because buffet was only for appetizer and desert and the main course can only choose once. But I do enjoy the company of my sisters, their DH and my lovely niece and nephew. After lunch, went shopping again but we left around 4pm plus as we forgot to bring DS milk bottle out. Went back home to let DS have his milk and sleep.
In the evening, SIL called to ask out for dinner. So we went to Giant Tampines for our dinner and also to buy some grocery. But DH suggested that we went to Courts first as he have wanted to change our TV set for a long time. Finally, DH and BIL decided to buy a 40’ LCD TV that was on sales. We were there for so long that its way past their closing time but DS was very happy because he can get to run around the big megastore. After that, we went back to Giant to buy some grocery before we went back at 12pm. What a long and tiring day out.

Not working today as company declares a day off but weather was so hot that we could not go anywhere. So decided to spent the day by sleeping (I really need my beauty sleep). Went out only in the evening to Punggol Plaza for dinner and some shopping at NTUC. Wanted to walk around longer but most of the shops were closed by 9.30pm. So went back home to watch TV instead.

Was going to stay over at SIL place for the night as we were all going to Jurong Bird Park the next day. Went over to AMK Fish & Co first because its my SIL birthday and after that shopped at AMK Hub for a while. DS of course was very happy because my BIL simply adore him and can see my DS also loves to play with him. DS had a great time but not me cause I am not used to sleeping in their bed. Ended up, I slept at 3am but woke up at 7.30am.

Wanted to go Bird Park early but because SIL went to market to buy breakfast and by the time everybody finished and get ready to leave the house, it was already 10am plus. So reached there at 11.15am but the bird show have already started and DS was sleeping. However, he woke up when everyone started clapping and managed to still catch a bit of the show. Stayed and explore the bird park until 3pm plus before heading to Woodlands for lunch. But weather was super hot that day that I did not find the trip very enjoyable. As for DS, he was so happy to see so many birds flying around and now he is able to imitate how the birds fly..
