Wanted to go out but it was raining the whole day. So ended up stayed at SIL hse to laze around before we proceed to PIL hse. Just as we were about to leave and go to their hse, DH mentioned that perhaps we should bring DS for his haircut as his hair was pretty messy. So the 3 of us (DH, SIL and me) went to SIL hse opposite hair saloon and the moment we stepped in, DS started to protest by screaming, crying and kept pointing towards the door. I had no choice but to carry him while he had his haircut. Meanwhile, SIL helped to grab his hands and DH got to help to keep his head still..What a chaos at that time. Just a 5 mins affairs need so many manpower..~Sighed ~
After his haircut, went back SIL to bath him again and also the three of us also need to shower too as we are all covered with DS hair. Ended up, we were the latest to reach PIL hse. Now DS kept touching the back of his head as it was very prickling. So he is once again Mr. Botak.

New Camera - FS5
Went to Commex exhibition yesterday as I have been wanting to change my camera to a newer and better model. I dropped DS at my SIL place as I knew the place will be too crowded for DS to tag along. So we left the hse at ard 12 plus and off we went to SIL hse at AMK.
After settling DS to his dreamland at 2pm for his nap, DH, DH niece and myself left the hse quickly as the sky was very dark. Upon reaching Suntec, it was so crowded that we have to squeeze our way in. Went to a few booth to take a look but still decided on Pansonic Lumix as the camera design, features are not too bad. In the end, I chose FS5 (Made in Japan) and paid $410 for it (usual price: $449).

New Playgroup School Found
Finally, my chatbox is slightly active now. Think must update frequently so that can generate 'visitors'. Kekeke. Anyway, called up my nearby playgroup (Kindertots) yesterday as I was thinking that since Appletree classes only commence next year (Yr 2009), it means that DS will have about 3mths of idling at home and irritating his father. I was quite happy to know that they have really flexible schedule, you can actually choose the number of days you want your kids to attend the class. Eg: Once a week, twice a week or even 5 times a week. The school even offers weekend classes. The kids get to learn art & craft etc and its only 2hrs session (Not so tiring). But DH doesn’t seem so keen with the idea as he is afraid it will be stressful for DS. Will try to convince DH to go and take a look at the school this Sat and hopefully, DS can attend classes by next month.
Yippee…Starting from Sunday, I am able to bring DS out at night again coz its already lunar 8th mth liao. Sometimes, it is just so bored to stayed at home at night. Also, next Sat (02/08/08)our family will be going to Singapore Flyer for a ride. Can’t wait coz I think it will be a nice experience ba…I can foreseen all my weekends for the next few weeks will be burned by activities :)

21st Mth
Three more mths before DS turns 2 years old. Currently, he still very small built compare to children around his age and he cannot speak a proper sentence yet. He is still into babbling baby words and also one to two syllabus words. He roughly knows the sequence of number 1 – 10 and A-Z, however he still cannot recognized the writing yet. He also likes to sing to the song of “Row Row Rw your boat”, “The Wheel on the bus” but he still cannot sing a song all by himself. As for words, he knows “mummy”, “daddy”, “papaya”, “I know” etc and when you asked him “Chi Bao le mei you”, he will answer “hai mei you” even though he had juz finished his meal.. Hahaha.
Oh, he knows how to drink from cup already without spill but cannot have too much water for him coz he still don’t know how to control his hand very well. I am trying to wean him off his pacifier and yesterday was the third night he tried to sleep without his pacifier. But still every night, he would sit up and tried to look for his tutu and asked me pitifully “where?”. But sorry son, mummy got to be heartless for a while coz I am trying to help you kick off this habit. Hope you can sleep without your pacifier soon. Love you to bits..

Updates
Yes..as the title says it all..I haven't been updating regularly and that's why I need an update coz many things to write yet so little time..
03/08/08 (Sunday)
Brought DS to Zoo for the first time. Went to collect the complimentary entrance tickets from Sis before meeting SIL and family to go Zoo together. As usual, weather for that day was hot but felt that it was more bearable compared to our Bird Park trip. DS of course was very happy to see so many animals and best of all, he can eat all the junks food that we brought along to the Zoo (chips and soft drinks). We also brought DS to the children world for him to play in the pool and also the playground. DS enjoyed himself so much there that we have a hard time running after him. Manged to cover most of the places but of course not in details as it was already late afternoon when we finished. We will definately bring DS again coz its such an educational place to visit. Just that I didn't bring along my camera so not much photos taken.

DH was no reservist today so took leave to take care of DS at home. DS woke up at 9am and tried to wake me up too..But I managed to let him stayed in bed till 9plus before giving him his milk at 10am..After which its playtime and bathing time. Fed DS his lunch at 1pm and at 2pm..its nap time. DS slept from 2pm to 6pm and by then. DH was already back and that's how I spent a day with DS.

This day is an auspicious day coz 8 sounds like Fa in Chinese and it means prosperous. Office was closed today so decided to meet up my colleague for brunch at AMK HUB. Meet her at 10 plus and we shopped till 1plus before it was time for DS nap. Brought him back to MIL place for his nap time while me too get to rest also. Went to Orchard alone at night to meet my sister and BIL for shopping. Brought lots of books for DS at Borders as they are having 15% discount storewide. However, think DS only likes the Thomas and Friends Book that I have brought. But really happy that I have brought something to his liking.

Its our Nation 43th Birthday and also Ah Zheng 2nd Birthday celebration. So in the afternoon, we went over to pass Ah Zheng his pressie and also have delicious buffet lunch there..Wow..Ah Zheng have grown to be a big, strong and handsome boy and when he standed near DS..its really a world apart. Left Jen hse after the cake cutting session as DS was super cranky (its over his nap time hrs). DS slept from 3plus to 7plus and the moment he woke up, we quickly rushed over to TPY to watch the fireworks and NDP parade. Stayed till 8plus and after that its to my 2nd sis hse as I need to collect things from her. Was there until 10plus before home sweet home.

Went over to MIL place in the afternoon coz they got 'pai pai' seventh mth so need to go there early to pay respect to ancestor etc. As usual, DS likes to go to MIL place coz there are lots of ppl to play with him. We stayed until 9pm plus so a day is gone just like that.

Office was closed so I actually planned to go out as I didn't want to waste my day off. But ended up, stayed at home the whole day coz the weather was hot plus DH wanted to watch the Olympics game. So what a boring day to spend my off day!!
