Busy March
Hello all..Well, the Month of March is indeed a busy month for me & DS..Look at how we spend our weekend in March..

Went to DS nephew DD birthday party at night..The birthday gal is indeed very well built that though my DS is older..he looks much younger than his age..hehehe..There was other older kids around so DS was having fun playing with them

Brought DS to Victoria Theatre to watch an ACT 3 childred play and this was our fist time there..At first, I thought DS would make a nusiance there but I'm proud and happy to say..He managed to watch the play for about 30mins before he started to lose his distraction on stage and wanted to run around. Luckily, I brought along his pacifier and it managed to coax him until the end of the 55mins show. *Phew, we were not shooed out from the theatre*. After the show, went back to MIL place for his cousin birthday celebration but we went back before the cake cutting session as me and DS was super tired already.

Its my Uncle birthday so me & my sisters went over to a resturant in Toa Payoh to celebrate his birthday. Dinner was good but the company was even better...Always loved and enjoyed family gatherings. Went back to my Uncle hse for cake cutting but the birthday guy was so surprise we brought him a cake as the cake was 'smuggled' to his hse without his knowledge. Hahaha.. We have lychee martini cake from Pine Garden (same as DS 1st birthday) and after DH majong session, its home sweet home..

THe day I have been waiting for finally arrived. Went to Erin new hse for a gathering. Its good to see my forum friends again and of course their kids. Well, this gathering was better than the last that was held at my hse because the kids are older now hence can interact and play better. Also, this stage is much more fun to play with. My DS enjoyed playing with all his playmates and I hope we will have more such gatherings to come. Yipee :)

Supposed to go for another gathering at my colleague hse but last mins all the mummies cannot make it..so we stayed at home to acoompany who was sick with flu.

Wanted to bring DS to Pasir Ris Park for a stroll..but halfway thru the journey, it started to rain so no choice..went to Giant hypermarket @ Tampinese instead to buy grocery. After abt 2 hrs there, we went to Tampinese central for shopping instead as the weather is still no good to spend the day @ beach..Been so long since we went to Tampinese and I enjoyed my shopping there. We also managed to take our first family neo print card there..So now I can put that card in my wallet and see my DS face everyday..After that, we went to Punggol beach for a while before DH drove us home for dinner time.

DS was sick since Wed nite with fever, flu and cough..Only fever has subsided but the flu bug and cough is there so my plans for Sun to the Bird Park will be cancelled...Been looking forward to it but no choice, DS haven't recover so it will be stay at home for us this long weekend.

CNY Celebration
Wow..only few more days to go before end of CNY. Been eating and playing card these few days. Hmmm..let me recall how did we spend the last 11 days of CNY.
06/02/08 (Wed)
Brought DS to Compass Point coz I need to help him change the shoes size while DH needed to clean the hse. Took bus with DS and was glad that he was very well behaved during the trip. Brought Mac for lunch and wanted to let DS took a nap at ard 3plus(actally i think I need the nap more than him) but this noti boy have been so busy walking in & out of the room and refused to sleep till 4plus. Received a call ard 6pm to inform us that everybody is waiting for us for the reunion dinner..Quickly woke DS up & off we went to IL hse. Dinner was great and was glad that DS enjoyed himself too but he was too tired to stay till the ang pow exchange time. Went back ard 11plus.

Woke up ard 10am and quickly prepared DS porridge and after that get himself ready to go IL hse again for visiting. Reached there and have lunch at IL hse there but DS was so tired that he just slept throughout the afternoon in midst of all the noise chattering. Went back my hse at 5plus (as usual, we were the latest to arrive) to have dinner. After dinner, its majong time for DH while me just played cards with my family. Luckily, DS was not so sticky to me so me can at least relax a bit.

Eldest sis invited us over to her hse to have steamboat and DS have had fun with all his cousin while I just laze ard the hse. What a good way to spend CNY.

Went to BIL hse for buffet dinner and took DS to the pool for the first time. Just let him dip his feet into the water and can see he truly loves the water (think will bring him for his first swim soon). Played cards again there and luck was good. So happy that can win some milk powder $$ for DS..hahaha.
Well, the rest of the weekends are spent visiting and more visiting. Okie..have to signed off here coz DS just fell from the bed and is now crying. Got to attend to him liao. Some of pics taken during CNY period.

Counting down to CNY
Hmmm..think I didn't blog that my New Year was spent rushing DS to KK coz his fever hit 40 degrees. Was so scared that day that me and DH juz rushed DS to KK @ 3am in the morning. Luckily, after a few days, DS is well again and it was so relieved to see him up and running again. It was indeed an unforgettable experience.
Yeah..2 more days to CNY. It's always my fav. festive season since young. The gatherings and good food makes me so happy :) BUT the only minus point..I hope DS will be good to me during this period of time coz now he is so 'sticky' to me and he only wants me and nobody else *faints*. Now at 14mth plus, DS is super naughty, keep throwing his tantrum and sometimes I wonder how to teach him coz I know beating him is not a right method but I really don't know how else can I teach him. Think I have to ask for advise again.
Juz came back from shopping as I need to buy DS shoes..but sad to said boys shoes pattern are so limited compare to gals..Hmmm..boys dun need to wear shoes? How come shoes makers can design so many cute and pretty shoes for gals but boys are so limited! Anyway, decided to get DS a pair of snoopy shoes as most of the shoes there wasn't much choice available. Will let DS try on tomorrow. Hope he is able to wear so that I dun have to go down to change the size. Okie. I'm going to bed but before I sign out, let me wish all " HAPY NEW YEAR & GONG XI FA CAI" Its pics time again..else, I might take another mth before I update again..hahaha =p

Bye bye 2007
A few more hours to go before we we said bye to Year 2007 & usher the Year of 2008. My New Year countdown celebration was fun @ all because DS is sick with fever and even vomitted last night. His temperature shot up to 39.8 tis afternoon. Was so worried that I nearly rushed him to hospital but luckily, fever subsided a bit now. Hopefully, he will be well by tomorrow. Brought him to see doc this morning and his weight is only 8.8kg. Average for his age is abt 9.0 - 9.5 kg. Doc said he is a bit underweight as his birth weight was very good but dun noe why his weight growth is very slow now. Doc recomended that we can let him drink PediaSure to see if there is improvement on his weight growth. Think will let DS try after he is well.
Hmmm...before I forget..let me try to recap DS milestone now that he is 13mth 2 weeks 3 days old..
1) Understand the meaning of throwing, rolling & kicking a ball..
2) Noes how to said more words such ball, duck, dog, H, roll, eyes, up.
3) Finally noes how to drink from a sprout cup. Next I'm going to teach him how to drink from a straw.
4) When asked to dance, he will shake his head..
5) When asked him where's the light, he will look up..
6) Can walked by himself but only for a short distance.
7) Noes how to throw tantrum by lying on the floor and refuse to get up.
Looking at DS different milestone in 2007 has really make me think that a year is gone just likethat. My wish for Year 2008 will be to spend more time with DS, family & friends and that everybody will be happy and healthy.. Happy New Year to all :)

Christmas Celebration
Today is a super tiring day coz after such a long weekend and its back to work..I hope everyone have had a good Christmas this year..Well for us..we did. Prior to Christmas (during Hari Raya Haji) , we have already brought DS to Orchard to see deco and lighting plus we walked all the way from Centerpoint to Tanglin Mall to see those children playing in the fake 'snow'...
On Christmas eve, my sisters & family came over to my hse to have a Christmas feast plus gift exchanged. DS of course enjoyed playing with his cousins and we adults enjoyed the dinner..We had Swensens Ice Cream Cake, pasta (spicy and non spicy), Ham and cheese, Turkey and Chicken soup... After dinner, its gift exchange time..This year, DS received two books from my eldest sis and a Winnie the Pooh tent with 50 balls in it..DS loves playing inside the tent with his cousin. Can see he truly enjoyed himself that day.. Its nice to have such gathering with my sisters as we can catch up with one another and I can chat with them everything and anything under the sun.. More such gatherings in future sisters..
Yesterday, Christmas was spent over at my Sister-In-Law place..They also have a mini gift exchange and DS also received some presents there...But, I haven't upwrapped those pressies yet as DS is not with me now..Shall wait till Fri then let him unwrap those presents himself. Too bad..my present for DS have not arrived yet as I brought some Leap Frog books for him online...
Anyway, now that Christmas is over.must make plans for New Year Celebration :) In case, I do not have the chance to log in to blog..Let me wish you all "Happy New Year and have a wonderful 2008!!"

DS Birthday celebration part 2
Decided to continue to blog on how we celebrate DS actual birthday on the 14th Nov. Actually, I was at that time contemplating whether should I take a day off anot on his birthday as I have just joined a new Co. and did not have many days leave. In the end, still decided to take a day off on that day as I really wanted to spend time with DS.
Woke up early in the morning but it was raining very heavily so sent an sms greeting to Virgo DS as both our boys were born on the same day. I was very dishearted upon seeing the heavy rainpour as I thought that all my plans for that day were going to be cancelled but luckily, the rain stopped at ard 12 plus. So quickly let DS had his lunch and off we set to VivoCity and its the first time that we brought DS to shopping without driving. We took LRT from our hse and then took the NEL train to HabourFront. The journey was quite long and DS was a bit cranky as he did not have his morning nap. Reached VivoCity and just as we stepped into the shopping center, DS felt asleep liao. So me and DH managed to have a peaceful and enjoyable lunch =p
Roamed ard VivoCity for quite a while before we decided to walked over to HabourFront to see see look look. Just then, DS finally woke up from his nap and I saw that there is a Barney kiddy ride nearby so decided to let DS sit and take pic on it. He was so happy playing with the sterring wheel and kept touching Barney's tummy. He was so reluctant to leave that DH got to kept him accompany while I continue my shopping...
Went back over to Vivocity as my plan is to let DS played at the outdoor playground but realised that nothing over there is suitable for his age so told DH that we can perhaps let DS played with water in the outdoor pool instead as it would be more fun for him. Think DS enyoyed it coz he kept wanting to go over the water there even as we left the pool. Too bad, we didn't stayed there for long as we need to go over Compass Point to buy some stuff (But I was so forgetful that I forgotten to buy another cake to bring over to nanny place for the cake cutting session). Anway, DS was so tired that he fell asleep as we were on our way to his nanny place... I really enjoyed myself on that day (coz i had spent a day of quality time with him) and I hope DS have had an enjoyable time too...
