After shopping, we went back home to put our stuff and I told DH that we should explore Seletar track as I know there are some eateries there but we have never been there. However, after some time we still couldn’t find the way but ended up at the Seletar airbase so took this opportunity to let DS see those big big airplane. After that, DH decided to explore another route and we ended up at Seletar dam for a walk.. Left the place around 5plus for PIL house.

Downtown East
Woke up ard 10plus in the morning as I was super tired doing all the housework on Sat afternoon. DH then suggested that we bring DS to Pasir Ris new indoor theme park to play. So off we went but the entry fee was so ex. Decided to bring DS to downtown east instead for the mini carnival there to let DS sit on the train and merry-go-round ride. After that, we went to supermarket for grocery shopping and all this while, DS was slept peacefully in his pram.

Family Day @ Singapore Flyer
Finally, the day I have been waiting for arrive – Family Day @ Singapore Flyer. We woke up at 7plus to get ourself ready as I will be meeting my colleague at City Hall MRT at 8.45am. DS too was very co-operative except that he got a ‘blur’ look because he was never a morning person. We left the hse at 8am and reached our destination on time. But the walk from City Hall to the Flyer was quite a distance and DS simply wouldn’t want to sit inside his pram..So tired by the time we reached there.
Saw most of my colleague already there and so once we gathered, we started taking pics and at around 11am, we boarded the S’pore flyer. Though the ride was about 30mins but because I was busy taking photos, I did get to enjoy much..Hahaha.
After the ride, we went for lunch @ Popeye and the mash potatoes was yummy.. We wanted to try the fish spa also but the price was ex lor..so we went to play at games stall but sad to say..before we could played, the stalls started packing up as the carnival was only till 1pm.. Ended up, we hitch a ride from my colleague and went back around 2pm..

Library
Since I knock off early from work yesterday, decided to go to the library @ Bras Besar to borrow some books for DS and read to him. Was there for over an hour just choosing 4 story books! This is because I wanted to find books that are colourful with not so many words. After a tough time finding, I ended up with these 4 books (Wanted to borrow more but 1 card only entitle to 4 except major holidays).
1) I’ll miss you every day
2) A birthday for Cow
3) Peek-a-boo, Mama
4) Peek-a-boo, Papa.
Went back PIL home ard 7plus and after having my dinner and shower, I started to read “A birthday for Cow” to DS and he seemed to like the book. After reading the first book, we went over to SIL place again (since PIL and SIL stayed nearby) and DH niece decided she wanted to dye her hair. So we went together to a home @ Sengkang to dye our hair (I’ve got lots of white hair to cover lor) and have a haircut. Returned back to PIL place at 1am this morning and I woke up at 7am..Very tired now but also happy coz my hair is now black again :)

Nite outing
Yesterday night, we have resume our night outing once again as I wanted to pass some cakes to my auntie who helped to look after DS for about more than a year plus. Went home to have a quick shower plus to have dinner. Reached my auntie place ard 8pm plus and the Gor Gor is so happy to see DS again. The two little boys played by themselves while DH & I were chatting with my auntie. Just as we were about to leave the hse, my uncle came back and DS was also happy to see him. Let my Uncle carried him and even followed him around. Ended up, we left their hse ard 11pm as it was already past DS bedtime. Hmmm..wondering if DS can still remember them as he have not seen them for about 4mth plus? I think I should bring him more often to their place for get together

Mr. Botak
Wanted to go out but it was raining the whole day. So ended up stayed at SIL hse to laze around before we proceed to PIL hse. Just as we were about to leave and go to their hse, DH mentioned that perhaps we should bring DS for his haircut as his hair was pretty messy. So the 3 of us (DH, SIL and me) went to SIL hse opposite hair saloon and the moment we stepped in, DS started to protest by screaming, crying and kept pointing towards the door. I had no choice but to carry him while he had his haircut. Meanwhile, SIL helped to grab his hands and DH got to help to keep his head still..What a chaos at that time. Just a 5 mins affairs need so many manpower..~Sighed ~
After his haircut, went back SIL to bath him again and also the three of us also need to shower too as we are all covered with DS hair. Ended up, we were the latest to reach PIL hse. Now DS kept touching the back of his head as it was very prickling. So he is once again Mr. Botak.

New Camera - FS5
Went to Commex exhibition yesterday as I have been wanting to change my camera to a newer and better model. I dropped DS at my SIL place as I knew the place will be too crowded for DS to tag along. So we left the hse at ard 12 plus and off we went to SIL hse at AMK.
After settling DS to his dreamland at 2pm for his nap, DH, DH niece and myself left the hse quickly as the sky was very dark. Upon reaching Suntec, it was so crowded that we have to squeeze our way in. Went to a few booth to take a look but still decided on Pansonic Lumix as the camera design, features are not too bad. In the end, I chose FS5 (Made in Japan) and paid $410 for it (usual price: $449).
Features of the camera:
10.1 mega pixels
iA function (Intelligent Auto mode)
4 x Optical zoom
30mm wide lens
Freebies include:
1pc 4GB SDHC card,1pc 8GB SDHC card, Camera case, Screen protector, Mini Tripod, Lens Cleaning Kid, SD Card Reader & 1 additional OEM battery.
Good deal? I don't know coz digital appliance stuff price drops very fast. Anyway, thinking of selling my 5 mega pixel camera (only 3 years old nia)away. Any takers? Wow..this mth super broke liao coz I also brought an external hard disk 320GB at $129 at the exhibition. Total damage for this exhibition: S$539.00
Wanted to bring DS to West Coast playground to play today but now he and DH still in their dreamland... Maybe going shopping later ba..

New Playgroup School Found
Finally, my chatbox is slightly active now. Think must update frequently so that can generate 'visitors'. Kekeke. Anyway, called up my nearby playgroup (Kindertots) yesterday as I was thinking that since Appletree classes only commence next year (Yr 2009), it means that DS will have about 3mths of idling at home and irritating his father. I was quite happy to know that they have really flexible schedule, you can actually choose the number of days you want your kids to attend the class. Eg: Once a week, twice a week or even 5 times a week. The school even offers weekend classes. The kids get to learn art & craft etc and its only 2hrs session (Not so tiring). But DH doesn’t seem so keen with the idea as he is afraid it will be stressful for DS. Will try to convince DH to go and take a look at the school this Sat and hopefully, DS can attend classes by next month.
Yippee…Starting from Sunday, I am able to bring DS out at night again coz its already lunar 8th mth liao. Sometimes, it is just so bored to stayed at home at night. Also, next Sat (02/08/08)our family will be going to Singapore Flyer for a ride. Can’t wait coz I think it will be a nice experience ba…I can foreseen all my weekends for the next few weeks will be burned by activities :)
